Christian Formation is an ongoing process which seeks to serve the Christian education needs of all parishioners. St. Joseph Parish offers a variety of programs designed to meet those needs. Click on a program title to learn more about it, including meeting times, contacts, etc.

Christian Formation classes begin on Sunday, October 2, 2011. If you have not yet done so, please return your registration forms to the Christian Formation Office as soon as possible.

Click here to obtain a registration form if you need one.

Parish Member Tuition rates are based on being an officially registered, contributing member of St. Joseph Parish with a signed stewardship pledge card on file with the parish at the time of registration.

The weekly class schedule remains the same as last year’s:

Child Ministry classes for Grades K4-2nd grade will meet during the 10:30 AM Sunday Mass.

Child Ministry classes for Grades 3-5 will meet Sunday mornings between Masses (9:15-10:15 AM).

Youth Ministry classes for Grades 6-8 and 9-11 will meet on alternating Sunday mornings between
Masses (9:15 AM-10:15 AM).

1. Parental Information: Please list the parent responsible for the child attending
                                       Christian Formation classes.

2. Birth Date: A K4 student must be 4 years of age as of September 1st to enroll.

3. Fees: Note that Child Ministry (K4-5th grade) and Youth Ministry (6th-11th grade) students have the
             same tuition rates.

4. Sacramental Fees: The 2nd Grade Sacramental fee covers both First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. Grades 9 & 10 have a Youth Ministry Retreat fee and Grade 11 has a combined Confirmation and Youth Ministry Retreat fee. All Sacramental and Youth Ministry retreat fees are non-refundable. Every attempt will be made to place the student on another parish’s retreat if the student is unable to attend the St. Joseph retreat.

Please consider serving as a catechist. All full time catechists will receive free family tuition! (Sacramental and retreat fees are not included in this benefit.) Not only are the financial benefits great, but the spiritual rewards and growth you receive are immeasurable. Training and materials are provided.

Financial difficulties are no reason to keep your children from participating in Christian Formation. Contact the Christian Formation office to make financial arrangements. As we say, "ALL ARE WELCOME".
