9-11.
Fun in the Son 2012
A trip to Great America will be taken on June 20 for middle
school students.
Registration forms have been sent home to all middle school families.
Extra forms are available in the Christian Formation office.
Busses will leave the St. Joseph Parish parking lot at 9:00 a.m. and return by
10:30 p.m.
Grades 6-8 and Grades 9-11
meet on alternating Sunday mornings from 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m.
In a small group setting with an adult catechist,
youth learn the basics of our Catholic faith through discussion, sharing and
service. Retreats, Lock-Ins, and other events are offered throughout the year.
Two programs in which youth of the parish are
involved are
Workcamp: A weeklong
summer mission trip for youth in grades 8-12, college students and adults. We
travel to another state to help repair the hearts and homes of people in need.
Workcamp involves a yearlong commitment of faith building, fundraising, and
preparation, beginning each September. The link
Workcamp information will provide details about our next Workcamp.
Fun-In-The-Son: Each
summer, the Catholic parishes of Ozaukee County collaborate to offer fun, social
outings for middle and high school youth; such as Great America, Noah's Ark,
Milwaukee Brewers game, etc.
