Minister of Preparation Schedule

Set – up for Weekend Masses

PREPARE THE WINE AND HOSTS FOR MASS

LARGE PITCHER AND LARGE GLASS BOWL (GIFT TABLE NEAR FRONT)
4:00 PM Approx. 350 HOSTS PLUS LARGE HOST
8:00 AM Approx. 350 HOSTS PLUS LARGE HOST
10:30 AM Approx. 550 HOSTS PLUS LARGE HOST
WINE PITCHER SHOULD BE FILLED TO CENTER OF BOTTOM HANDLE

THESE ARE APPROXIMATE NUMBERS (Add 50 hosts if choir is present)

Setup:    
  1. There will be a small ciborium (containing 10-20 gluten free hosts) in the tabernacle along with the
    main ciborium and the glass reserve dish. The gluten free ciborium and a moistened purificator
    will be put on a small tray and set out on the credence table with the main ciborium.
     
  2. An extra shelf and a towel bar have been added to the credence table to accommodate the extra items.
    a.   Top shelf
              i.     Main ciborium (golden)
             ii.     Gluten ciborium (labeled) and golden plate with wet purificator
            iii.     Communion distribution plates (6 plates)
            iv.          Hand sanitizer
             v.          Water cruet
            vi.           Father's chalice with purificator
     
    b.   Middle shelf
              i.     Tray with wine cups (7 cups with 7 purificators)
     
    c.   Lower shelf
              i.     Lavabo (hand washing silver bowl)
     
    d.   Towel bar
              i.     Towel for the washing of the hands
             ii.     This towel is intended to be used for 1 week. A new towel will be put out at the Saturday
                     afternoon mass and removed for laundering after the last weekday mass
                     (usually Thursday 8:00 a.m. or Friday 8:45 a.m.)

PREPARE THE ALTAR WITH THE FOLLOWING TWO ITEMS
      1 CORPORAL- check to make sure it is clean (ON ALTAR)
      ACRYLIC GOSPEL BOOK HOLDER (PLACE ON THE CENTER OF THE ALTAR)

RE-CHECK HOST AMOUNTS JUST PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF MASS – ADD MORE IF NEEDED

CLEAN THE VESSELS AFTER MASS

Reminder: Please remember to keep around 20 blessed hosts (or more) in the glass bowl in the tabernacle for those who come to pray in the Chapel before mass or for someone who needs to pick up communion prior to mass.

If you are unable to stay for the clean up of dishes after mass, please ask someone or use the blue note that is now located on the counter and set it by the sink so all eucharistic ministers will see it when they return from communion. Thank you.
